Hey ,
This month on social media, I’ve been talking about
something that often goes unnoticed but influences so much of how we live: the beliefs running quietly in the background.
Not every belief we carry is true.
Not every thought we’ve repeated to ourselves deserves to keep leading us.
And not every pattern we’ve normalized is actually aligned with who God is calling us to be.
Sometimes the reason we feel stuck, scattered, or hesitant is not because we’re incapable.
It’s
because we’ve been operating from beliefs we haven’t slowed down long enough to question.
Beliefs like:
- I have to do everything on my own.
- Rest means I’m
falling behind.
- It’s too late for me to change.
- I need everyone else to be okay before I can focus on myself.
- This is just the way I am.
The truth is, beliefs like these can shape our decisions, drain our peace, and keep us moving through life on autopilot.
But awareness changes things.
When you begin to notice the belief underneath the pressure, the fear, the overthinking, or the constant striving, you create space to challenge it.
And once you challenge it, you can begin replacing it with something truer, healthier, and more life-giving.
Here’s a simple reflection for you this week:
What belief might be influencing the way I’ve been showing up lately?
Then ask yourself:
Is this belief actually true?
Is it helping me live with peace, clarity, and intention?
Or is it keeping me bound to an old way of thinking?
This kind of inner work matters.
Because transformation does not begin only when life around you changes.
It begins when the thoughts and beliefs shaping your life begin to change.
So this week, pay attention.
Notice what rises up in moments of stress, hesitation, frustration, or self-doubt.
There may be a belief there that needs to be challenged.
And there may also be an invitation from God to see yourself, your life, or your next step differently.
With love,
Rena
